Chelsea Wright has fully conceptualised and implemented a female empowerment movement, Girls Who Know Ja which seeks to increase awareness of sexual and reproductive health among young Jamaican women. Her movement has garnered attention both on the local and international scene acquiring support from local health professionals, media influencers and a former Miss World. 

Her activism spans to other areas and through her involvement in Talk Up Youth-a platform giving Jamaican Youth a voice to find solutions to their problems, she has spoken out against teenage violence, domestic abuse and bullying.
